I sat down with a few peers to speak about my chosen genre being a thriller. We spoke about recent thrillers like Prisoners and Gravity. We spoke about how different these two films where, both are thrillers and yet both are very different. Gravity is a film that was probably 90% filmed using a green screen technology and Prisoners is a traditional type thriller that has a detective chasing bad people, but it has a side story where another character wants to solve the case his own way. Both have their differences from thrillers and both filmed very differently. But everyone agreed they are very good films despite the differences in budget and technology.
